The ‘mumok Foundation Ludwig Vienna’ is a museum in the Museumsquartier in Vienna. The museum has a collection of 7,000 modern and contemporary art works, including major works from Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Joseph Beuys, Nam June Paik, Wolf Vostell, Gerhard Richter, Jasper Johns and Roy Lichtenstein. The ‘mumok’ regularly organizes special exhibitions and is known for its large collection of art related to Viennese Actionism.

Zaha Hadid – WU Library and Learning Center

The Library and Learning Center (LC) is the centerpiece of the new campus of the Vienna University of Economics iand Business. Responsible architect was Zaha Hadid with her Hamburg office. The cantilevered roof of the building and the so-called ‘Monitor’ (a huge panorama window) capture the eye of the viewer. The space inside is stuctured by a spacious atrium and narrow “canyons” that divide the massive exterior.
