Since 1995 influental filmmakers like David Lynch, Jean-Luc Godard, Agnes Varda and Apichatpong Weerasethakul have been invited to create a trailer for the ‘Vienna International Film Festival’, a so-called ‘Little film’. This year’s trailer was directed by Shirin Neshat, an Iranian-American artist well known for her installations and photography. The film features Natalie Portman and is about her futile attempt to chase a shadow.
