Vienna has not really embraced Scandinavian design yet. Labels like Sandqvist, BLK DNM, and Dr. Denim were quite hard to get in this town. But now, there is a store to treat yourself to these goodies. Besides apparel and accessories, the Comerc store in Westbahnstraße 20/4 has a “Downspace Gallery” to go for. A variety of exhibitons and happenings are well worth a visit.

The Henkel corporation (now Henkel Eastern Europe) has been located in Erdberg (3rd district) since 1927. Persil washing powder is no longer produced here, but Persil liquid detergent still is.
The owner of this house in Burggasse thought that it looked a bit dull. So, he decided to invite the ‘Irga Crew’ (artists Knarf, Mafia and Freshmax) to redesign the facade. The new temporary design was presented on 8 August 2014. Former designs are documented on the Facebook site of this art project in progress.
