On the occassion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Meret Oppenheim, the ‘Bank Austria Kunstforum’ presents the first posthumous retrospective on this multi-talented artist. Her first scoop was the installation ‘Breakfast in Fur’. A cup dressed in fur, which turned her into one of the main protagonists of the surrealist movement. Her broad and independent oeuvre does not only include painting and sculpture, but also poetry and design.
