That is a beautiful thing. I wish we were doing this in the UK.
Unfortunately, it is not enough. I’m sure you have heard about the situation in Hungary. European countries must solve the refugee crisis asap. No more dead refugees in trucks and the Mediterranean Sea. It’s so heartbreaking.
Of course we can do more, but it’s a start. It is absolutely heartbreaking. How are our governments letting this happen?
People have so much fear and our right winged parties wont stop fueling that fear. But it is our relation to other human beings that makes us human. Let us never forget that. There is hope, as grassroot movements supporting refugees gain influence. It’s the normal people who overcome the political ignorance of our governments.
